📖 Blog guides 🔒 Private by design — your files stay on your device

Your form wants an exact size. We make it. In seconds.

Compress a photo to exactly 30KB, make a passport photo to the millimetre, turn a PDF into an editable Word file — free tools that run in your browser. No sign-up. No waiting.

Compress Image to an Exact Size (KB)

For forms that say "photo must be under 30KB" or "between 20KB and 50KB". We hit the size precisely — not just "smaller".

Images to PDF — Under a Size Limit

Turn photos of your documents (CNIC, degrees, certificates) into one PDF that stays under the portal's limit — 300KB, 500KB, 1MB…

Tap to choose document photos

You can select several · order = page order

KB

Tip: if the PDF is still too big, we automatically lower photo quality step by step until it fits — document text stays readable because we shrink size before quality.

PDF to Word Converter

Turn a PDF into an editable Word (.docx) file — the text is pulled out of the PDF and rebuilt as clean paragraphs you can edit, right here in your browser.

Tap to choose a PDF

Reports, forms, e-books · processed on your device, never uploaded

Honest note: this works best on PDFs that contain real text (typed documents, reports, e-books). Scanned or photographed PDFs are just pictures — they have no text layer, and this tool does not include OCR, so a scanned PDF will come out blank or nearly blank. Tables and multi-column layouts are simplified into plain paragraphs.

AI Prompt Generator

Vague prompts get vague answers. Fill in four quick fields and get a polished, ready-to-paste prompt — built with a role, a clear task, context and an output format, the way good prompts are structured.

Your prompt — copy and paste it into the AI tool:

AI Text Checker (Free Estimator)

Paste any text and get a quick pattern-based estimate of how AI-written it looks — sentence rhythm, repetitive phrases, common AI-style wording and vocabulary variety.

0 words

Honest note: this is a free estimator for guidance only. It looks at writing patterns — it cannot prove who or what wrote a text, and it is not a definitive AI detector. Short texts, non-native writing and heavily edited text can mislead it.

Plagiarism Spot-Check

Two quick checks: search the web for your exact sentences, or compare two texts against each other and see the overlap highlighted.

Each button opens a Google search for that exact sentence in quotes — the sentences you choose are searched in Google only when you press a button; nothing is searched or sent before that. If the sentence exists on a website, it will show up — a fast first check before submitting anything.

Honest note: this is a spot-check helper, not a full plagiarism scan. It checks exact phrases on the open web and compares texts you paste — it does not search Turnitin's or any paid database, so "no matches found" here is not a guarantee of originality.

YouTube Transcript Generator

Paste a YouTube link and get the video's spoken words as clean text — with timestamps, a plain copy, and a subtitle (.srt) file. For creators reusing their own videos, students taking notes, and researchers quoting talks. Please respect the video owner's rights: use transcripts of your own videos, or for study and research.

Honest note: this works only on videos that have captions (most public videos have auto-captions). A video with no captions at all gives nothing — turning speech into text from raw audio needs paid AI per minute, which a free tool cannot include. The link you paste is fetched by our small server helper because browsers cannot read YouTube's caption tracks directly; the helper stores nothing.

YouTube Thumbnail Downloader

Paste any YouTube video link and download its thumbnail in every size YouTube offers — HD for design reference and re-uploads, smaller sizes for previews. Handy for creators checking their own videos and for design inspiration.

Honest note: not every video has the biggest (HD) size — YouTube only creates it for higher-resolution uploads, so an older or low-resolution video may show fewer sizes. Thumbnails belong to their video owners; download your own, or use others only as reference.

Age Calculator — Exact Years, Months & Days

Application forms keep asking for your exact age on a specific date. Pick your date of birth and the date you need the age for (today, by default) and get the precise answer — plus total days lived and your next birthday.

Runs entirely on your device — your birth date is never sent anywhere. The method is the standard calendar method (the same one official age calculators use): full years, then full months, then remaining days.

Word & Character Counter

For essays with a word limit, applications with a character limit, and anyone timing a speech. Counts update as you type or paste.

0Words
0Characters
0Characters (no spaces)
0Sentences
0Paragraphs
0 minReading time

Reading time assumes ~200 words per minute (average adult silent reading); speaking aloud runs ~130 words per minute — 0 min for this text. Counting happens on your device as you type.

Text Tools — Case, Duplicate Lines & Extra Spaces

Small fixes that waste everyone's time by hand: change the case of a whole document, remove repeated lines from a list, squeeze out extra spaces, drop blank lines, or sort lines alphabetically.

0 characters · 0 lines

Everything happens in your browser — the text is edited in place and never sent anywhere. "Remove duplicate lines" keeps the first copy of each line and deletes later repeats, exactly as typed (case-sensitive).

QR Code Generator

Turn a link, phone number or any text into a QR code you can print on a menu, card, poster or payment sign. Type it, pick a size, download the PNG.

The code is generated on your device — the text you enter is never sent anywhere. Test the downloaded code with your phone camera before printing a big batch; very long text makes a denser code that needs a bigger print size.

Banner Maker — YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn & More

Pick a platform and get a canvas at its exact banner size — with the safe area drawn in, so your text is never cropped away on TVs and phones (YouTube's banner trap). Add your own photo, headline and background, then export at the exact size.

Tap to choose an image

It is placed centre-cover; use the sliders to fit

Live preview — the dashed box is the safe area: keep text and faces inside it. Guides are never in the downloaded file.

Made on your device from your own photo — nothing is uploaded. Sizes follow each platform's published banner dimensions; platforms occasionally change them, so if a platform rejects a file, tell us and we will update the preset.

Merge PDF Files into One

Portals often want ONE PDF: CNIC front and back, degree and transcript, every certificate in a single upload. Choose your PDFs in order and merge them here — on your device, never uploaded.

Tap to choose PDF files

You can select several · order = merged order

Honest note: page order follows the order you pick the files in. Password-protected PDFs cannot be read (remove the password first in your PDF app). Very large files (hundreds of pages) may take a few seconds on a phone.

JPG ↔ PDF Converter

Both directions in one place: turn photos into a single PDF that fits a size limit, or turn a PDF back into JPG images — one per page — for sharing, printing or uploading where PDFs are not accepted.

Tap to choose photos

You can select several · order = page order

KB

Both directions run on your device. For scanned documents use High (2×) so the text stays crisp; a long PDF makes one image per page, and "Download all" bundles them into a single .zip.

Photo to Text — OCR

Extract the words from a photo or screenshot: a notice-board photo, a page from a book, a screenshot of an announcement. The text is read by an engine that runs entirely in your browser — the photo never leaves your device.

Tap to choose a photo or screenshot

Clear, straight-on photos of printed text work best

The reading engine (English, ~7 MB) loads the first time you use this tool, then stays ready.

Honest note: OCR reads clear printed English well; handwriting, stylish fonts, tilted or blurry photos and low light will produce mistakes — always proofread the result before using it anywhere official.

Proofreading — Grammar, Spelling & Readability

Paste your essay, application or letter and get a careful check: grammar and spelling issues with suggested fixes, plus a readability score so you know how hard your text is to read.

0 words

Honest note: the grammar check runs on LanguageTool's free public service through our small helper, so the text you paste does leave your device for this one tool — do not paste private or official documents. The free service is rate-limited (about 20 checks a minute, shared), so an occasional "try again in a minute" is normal at busy times. It is a careful assistant, not an examiner: always give the result a final read yourself.

Interest Calculator — Simple & Compound

Work out what a deposit, saving plan or loan costs or earns: simple interest, or compound interest with a year-by-year breakdown table showing exactly how the number grows.

The maths is the standard school formula — simple: P × r × t; compound: P × (1 + r/f)f·t — with the yearly table rounded to 2 decimals. This is a calculator, not financial advice: banks may calculate on exact days or add fees and taxes that change the final figure.

How it works

Three steps, under a minute, and your files never leave your device.

1

Read your form's rule

Find the exact demand on your form — "under 30KB", "200×230 px", "PDF under 500KB". That number is the whole game.

2

Drop your file in

Pick the matching tool above and add your photo or document. It is processed right here in your browser — never uploaded.

3

Download the exact fit

Get a file that lands precisely on the size, pixels or format the portal asked for — then submit with confidence.

Why FormFit?

🔒 Truly private

Every tool runs in your browser. Your CNIC photo and documents are never uploaded to any server — unlike most "free" tools.

🎯 Exact, not approximate

Forms reject files for being 31KB instead of "under 30KB". We target the exact KB and pixels the portal demands, including range rules like 20–50KB.

⚡ Free, no sign-up

No accounts, no watermarks, no daily limits. Open the page, fix your file, download, apply.

Questions

My form says "photo 20–50KB, 200×230 px". What do I do?
Use Compress to Exact KB: set target 50KB, tick range mode, set minimum 20KB. Then use Resize to Exact Size with 200×230 px if your photo is not already that size (resize first, then compress).
Is my CNIC photo safe here?
Yes. FormFit's file tools work entirely inside your browser using your device's own processing — your photos and documents never leave your device, and they even work offline once the page has loaded. Three tools are the exceptions, and each says so in its own section: the YouTube Transcript tool fetches a video's captions through our helper (you paste a public link — no file is uploaded); Proofreading sends the text you paste, through our helper, to LanguageTool's checking service; and the Plagiarism Spot-Check's web mode searches the sentences you choose in Google, only when you press a phrase button.
The photo quality dropped a lot at 20KB. Any fix?
Start from the largest, clearest original photo you have, cropped close to the subject. Small targets are much kinder to a close crop than to a distant full-body shot shrunk down.
Which size do government job forms in Pakistan usually demand?
Common ones: FPSC asks for a photo under 30KB; many recruitment portals ask for 200×230 px photos between 20–50KB. Always read your specific form's instructions — the numbers differ per portal, which is exactly why these tools let you set any size.
Why did the transcript tool find nothing for my video?
The tool reads the video's caption track — it does not listen to the audio. If the video has no captions (not even auto-captions), there is nothing to fetch. Most public videos do have auto-captions; private, very new, or caption-disabled videos may not.
Does the proofreading tool keep my text private?
For this one tool, the text you paste is sent (through our helper) to LanguageTool's free checking service — that is how grammar checking works. Do not paste private or official documents. Every file tool on this page, and the OCR tool, still runs fully on your device.
How accurate is the photo-to-text (OCR) tool?
On a clear, straight photo or screenshot of printed English it is usually very accurate. Handwriting, decorative fonts, tilted or shadowed photos will produce errors — treat the output as a fast first draft and proofread it.
What is the "safe area" in the Banner Maker?
Platforms crop banners differently per device — YouTube shows the full 2560×1440 on TV but only the centre 1235×338 strip on phones. Anything outside the safe area can be cut off somewhere, so keep headlines and faces inside the dashed box. The exported file never contains the guide.
How is compound interest calculated here?
With the standard formula P × (1 + r/f)^(f×t), where f is how many times a year interest is compounded (1, 2, 4 or 12). The yearly table applies that growth year by year so you can see each step, rounded to 2 decimals.
